CHRISTIAN COUNTY ADULT TREATMENT COURTS
DRUG COURT
- Third oldest program in Missouri; began February 1998
- Adult pre-plea, post-plea and re-entry programming
- Collaborative team approach among justice stakeholders
- Emphasizes drug-free participants and extinguishing criminal behaviors
- Friday – staffing 7:30 a.m. followed by court 8:30 a.m.
DWI COURT
- Program started in January 2017
- Adult post-plea and re-entry programming
- Collaborative team approach among justice stakeholders
- Focus on community and highway safety while creating sober participants
- Friday – staffing 10:30 a.m. followed by court 11:30 a.m.
VETERAN'S COURT
- Program started in January 2019
- Adult post-plea and re-entry programming
- Serves Veterans with substance use disorders or mental health conditions
- Identifies appropriate VA and non-VA services for Veteran
- Utilizes Peer Mentors to encourage success
- Collaborative team approach among justice stakeholders
- Friday - staffing
7:30 a.m. followed by court 8:30 a.m.
