ASSOCIATE CIVIL COURT FEE INFORMATION

Court costs are to be paid at time of filing of petition.  Money orders will be required for fees:  One money order payable to the Christian County Circuit Court for the basic filing fee and one money order payable to the appropriate Sheriff’s Department for service will be required.    You will need to contact the appropriate Sheriff’s Department for the correct service fee(s).  Christian County Sheriff’s fees are stated below.

BASIC FILING FEES
Associate cases:
Filing Fee………………………………..........…… $ 48.50

Small Claims cases:

      Trial de Novo …………………………………. $ 45.00

Garnishment Clerk fee………………..............……...$ 10.00

Collection cases are held every Tuesday starting at 9:00 a.m. 

Small claims cases are held the 3rd
Thursday of each month starting at 9:00 a.m.

Any documents delivered without the proper fees will be returned.

Two copies of Interrogatories must accompany garnishments.

All correspondence to be file stamped and returned must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
